It was just too fun, the first time. Making the basketweave for Grammy’s Scrap Basket, I mean. And so, when someone said, “Do you think it would work in twin size?” I sharpened my pencils and got to work. Turns out, it works out just perfectly for a twin-sized bed, and with only straight lines to be sewn, this could be a great “first big project” for an aspiring quilter. I really love that it looks a little tricky, but when you get going on it, you realize how easy it really is. Also, the “blocks” are large, so it goes together in a right hurry.

Sometimes I wish all my projects could be that way.
